Author: Rudy Umans
Ever since Rudy's parents gave him his first camera during a family vacation in Germany at 6 or 7, he's been taking pictures. It was a Kodak Instamatic and he still has it. He grew up near Amsterdam, the Netherlands, but moved to Miami in 1989 where he photographed for product catalogs. Later he used a big, old wooden camera, Ansel Adams-style to shoot landscapes. Since the digital era, the majority of his income is from photographing wedding, events, and commercial stuff. Through stock and art sites, his work is literally sold all over world to book publishers, including National Geographic, web designers, ad agencies, and government agencies. He loves cycling and blues music. His vice is chocolate milk. You can find more of his work at his website or Fine Art America.
